Description

The GED Preparation course at Washington Adult School aims to quickly prepare students to pass the GED exam through a variety of methods, including teacher led instruction, online preparation software and guided independent study. Skills testing and GED practice testing is used to guide the student preparation process and shape their individualized plan for success. Structured, content specific classes focus on giving students a college like instructional environment that is supported by skill and content specific instructional units available in the software program all students have access to. Holistic independent study aimed at improving student skills for the GED and benefiting them in life beyond is regularly assigned. Individualized student learning plans and small program size allow the GED test preparation course to focus on using GED preparation to transition to post-secondary education and/or training, and entering or improving employment.
