This program is designed to boost employment opportunities for our community as well as fulfill a need for medical assistants within our local healthcare facilities. This course will prepare students for a lasting career in the medical field. Course will include:

• Preparation for the CCBMA test

• CPR certification

• Externship opportunities

• Front and back office training

• Medical terminology

Requirements:

• 18 years old or older

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Medical terminology course completed prior to the start of medical assistant program*

• Scrubs

*The medical terminology course will

be provided by EDCOE.
