English Language Learning (ELL)Class Detail Page

Intermediate through advanced students learn together in a supportive environment focused on speaking, listening, reading, and writing English for everyday life in America. Focus on vocabulary study and instruction is supported by a multimedia approach to help students address their daily needs, identify basic information, and communicate in the English language. Course content is relevant to student’s daily lives in the United States and major units of study are chosen by students. This course emphasizes increasing student’s abilities to access community resources, transition to post-secondary education or vocational training, and enter the workforce or improve current employment.
